I’ve got a few dolls up for sale. As of right now I’m only shipping within the US (the post office at my workplace only ships within the US and I have been working longer hours so getting to a regular post office is not possible at the moment ^^;). I have a non-smoking home but I used to have a cat, it passed away late last year so if you are highly allergic be advised there could be a bonus haunted cat hair. 93/365- Ra Muw Dal

Ra Muw was another one of the dolls I received for my birthday, I decided to debox her today. Ra Muw was a part of the limited edition Steampunk series of pullips and company released over the past 10 months ago or so. She was just recently released back in February.

I decided to name her Verne, after the novelist Jules Verne (Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea, etc) one of the many influences behind Steampunk.

92/365- Zatanna Animated Statue

I went to Buried Under Comics in Manchester, CT earlier today. While it’s a fairly small store, the entire store is packed wall-to-wall with all sorts of awesome. I never leave disappointed as I always find something of interest, today’s item of interest was a Zatanna statue.

This Zatanna statue came out way back in October of 2004. She is limited to 900 and mine is number 236/900. I had never actually seen this statue in person before, while I was aware of it before today I had never seen it pop up for sale before anywhere. I’m a big fan of the DC Animated Universe so of course Zatanna captured my interest.

91/365 – Vocaloid VN02 Miku

The Vocaloid VN02 Miku figure was another of my birthday gifts. This figure was made by Max Factory and it came out late last year. While she is a bit of an odd Miku figure, I’ve always been attracted to the movement and sense of fluidity in this figure.

I am also very keen on the almost toxic green that they chose for this figure. The venomous green is a bold color choice but I personally like it, it isn’t a color that is seen very often on anime figures.

90/365 Harley Quinn Mini-Statue

As some eagle-eyed people may have noticed in this picture (upper right hand), I received one of my grail Harley Quinn items as a gift for my birthday. It’s a Harley Quinn mini-statue by DC Direct. The mini-statue was based on a much larger, wildly popular Harley Quinn statue that came out over ten years ago. Unfortunately the price of the larger version of the statue has soared over the years due to Harley Quinn’s popularity, even this miniature version costs around $150 these days on the secondary market.

Even though she is tiny (less than three inches tall) the sculpting and the painting on her is superb. Eventually I am going to save up and buy the larger version of the statue as well but for now I am quite happy with her.

Ordered: BJD Pukipuki Poseidon

Recently, I was able to pay off my layaways for two Fairyland bjds through Denverdoll. Both girls: my Littlefee Luna Fullset who I have named Gin and a Pukifee Ante whose name has not been revealed yet actually arrived on my birthday as well as more giftcards for denverdoll haha! I had been flirting with the idea of getting an antro bjd after taking a good long look at Doll Factory‘s dolls (I especially like the conies ^^; ). They are something completely different than what I am used to and well the idea of having a little jointed unicorn doll kind of intrigued me. Alas as cool as I think they are I have no practical use for them and I also have no idea how they would fit in with the rest of my crew. So I started looking around at different dolls especially dolls from my beloved Fairyland when I spotted this fishy fellow who was just perfect.

89/365- Pullip Akoya (Kunoichi)

I’ve finally started working my way through my stack of new birthday dolls. I decided that opening them all at once would be way too overwhelming so I am going to open them one at a time on a rather lackadaisical schedule (ie. whenever I feel like it). Akoya is a part of the ninja set of pullip and company that was released this past December.

Overall I think Akoya is a gorgeous doll but I wish she her ninja outfit had a different color palette as it does not seem too stealthy and ninja-like to me.

87/365- Birthday Loot

I’m skipping ahead a fair bit as I haven’t had much free time to keep this updated as of late. Days 84, 85 and 86 are up on Flickr if anyone is particularly interested. Day 87 ie. yesterday was my 27th birthday so I opted to take a picture of all of my birthday loot for the picture of the day.

I received a good variety of loot including dolls, anime stuff and comics stuff. Had I won the Volks lottery, Kudo would have been a birthday (albeit belated) present as well but since I was not successful an order was made through Pullipstyle instead. That order did not make it in time for my birthday as the loss of Kudo was not discovered until very late last week.

83/365- Blythe LPS

I’ve managed to collect a small army of the Littlest Pet Shop Blythe dolls; they are adorable, inexpensive and widely available here in the states. One of my favorites is the deluxe scooter release. The scooter blythe is the most expensive one released so far and even she only costs about $20 (I got mine as a gift).

I also decided to take a couple of pictures of the Scooter blythe sans scooter, the doll is pretty cute and I absolutely love her outfit.

I had ambitions of getting an actual Takara petite blythe for my birthday unfortunately we sat down and had a chat yesterday and while one was ordered, she seems to have been in one of the two packages that went missing. In the grand scheme of things losing two sal packages to the tsunami is insignificant.
