Isul Okita Souji is an original design by Ars Gratia Artis. Seems to be at least somewhat inspired by the historical figure Okita Sōji who was a Shinsengumi and renowned swordsman in the mid-1800s. In more recent years Okita Sōji has kind of entered the world of pop culture with fictionalized versions of him appearing in anime such as Peacemaker Kurogane and Rurouni Kenshin.
