To celebrate Sailor Moon’s 20th anniversary Groove started a collaboration of dolls based on characters from the series in 2014. Black Lady is an alternate form of Chibi Usa, Chibi Usa is Sailor Moon’s future daughter who travels to the past to try and save Crystal Tokyo. She is corrupted by Wiseman and turns into Black Lady, her parents and friends eventually break Wiseman’s hold on her and restore her to her normal self before going on to save Crystal Tokyo. Pullip Black Lady is one of the few villains released as a part of the Sailor Moon collaboration series and though her time as a villain in the show/manga was short she has definitely left a lasting impact on the Sailor Moon fandom.
Two different versions were released, a standard release as well as a Bandai exclusive version that came with a plush of her evil companion Luna-P (in the series, it can be turned into whatever type of object she needs).
