71/365- Pullip Clara (Rosa)

I’ve had Pullip Clara for a while now but I never photographed her before yesterday as I haven’t really been photographing pullips as much lately. Clara was one of this year’s Doll Carnival exclusives, I was lucky enough to get her through Pullipstyle. Normally getting the Doll Carnival limiteds is a bit troublesome and quite expensive but this year Pullipstyle was able to get some in stock (they still have a limited quantity of Clara and Chloi but Sweet Risa is sold out).

This year’s Doll Carnival limited pullips were green and pink themed bunny pullips, Clara is the pink themed twin and Chloi is the other.

69/365 & 70/365- Lucky Star Cosplay Figures

I decided to do a two-for-one post as days 69 and 70 have very similar themes. I’ve been wanting to play with my nendoroids and figmas, more and more lately the Lucky Star figures where they cosplay as other anime figures were always some of my favorites so I decided to feature them.

Day 69’s picture of the day featured Kagami from Lucky Star cosplaying as Miku from Vocaloid in both the nendoroid and figma form. I really love Kagami cosplaying as Miku.

Day 70’s picture of the day was both of the Lucky Star cosplay figmas. Konata cosplays of Suzumiya from Melancholy of Suzumiya and Kagami as Miku from Vocaloid (again). The Konata figma was a Wonder Festival exclusive from a few years ago, if memory serves she was one of the first figmas released. The Kagami figma was just a standard release, I am kind of surprised that they didn’t actually make her a Wonder Festival release as well. I eventually hope that they will release figmas of Miyuki and Tsukasa cosplaying as well.

68/365- Feena Fam Earthlight Nendoroid

I got a package in the mail yesterday, I was so excited I opened it immediately then I had a moment of blind panic as I thought I had unintentionally opened birthday gifts early. My blind panic was temporarily reinforced by my confessing that I had opened up a box of nendoroids by mistake, only one problem they didn’t mean these nendoroids ~~which kind of implies I will be getting some nendoroids for my birthday~~. I was so focused on incoming birthday stuff, that I forgot I was still waiting on a package of stuff that I bought ^^; In addition to the Feena nendoroid, I got the last two K-on nendoroids Azusu and Tsumugi I needed to complete the cast (just the basics I have not gone after any of the LE K-on nendoroids as of yet) and a couple of pinky street. I decided to open up Feena and then use her for picture of the day.

Feena Fam Earthlight is from Yoake Mae Yori Ruri-iro Na, which was originally an eroge game. I’ve always really loved Feena’s character design so I am very happy they made a nendoroid version of her. I really love her sleepy face, it’s so very sweet and adorable.

67/365- Mahoromatic Tori-Colle! Figure

I’m a huge Mahoromatic fan, it’s actually one of my favorite anime series. Unfortunately, Mahoromatic never really had all that much merchandise. Back in 2007, two lines of Gainax Tori-colli! figures were released I had bought a box of the first set but missed out on preordering the second set and of course there just had to be a Mahoro in the second set. Much to my surprise and delight, I happened to see Mahoro pop up for sale all by herself last week on Dolly Market (figure sales on DM are pretty rare).

My itty bitty Mahoro figure came in the mail yesterday and I couldn’t be happier.

66/365- Follow the White Rabbits

I’m skipping ahead slightly again… I’ve been wanting to finish off my collection of the newer Alice mini pullip/dals for a while by getting Little Pullip Dormouse and Little Dal White Rabbit but White Rabbit just never seemed to be in stock on Pullipstyle. I finally decided to order Dormouse at least and emailed PS about Little Rabbit, who as it turns out is sold out but they managed to find me one because they are awesome like that (I got their very last one that they used to photograph for the site).

Little Rabbit stole my heart away as soon as she came in the mail so I decided to use her as picture of the day. She is pictured with my White Rabbit bobble-head made by Funko.

64/365- Final Fantasy XIII Vanille Figure

I stopped at ToysRus to pick up some more coloring books for zilla who is apparently an aspiring artist and I noticed the Final Fantasy XIII Play Art Figures were now in the clearance section. I had never bought any of the FFXIII Play Arts as I haven’t played any of the more recent Final Fantasy games; I played FFX and FFX-2 that was enough to put me off the franchise for a bit ^^; Since they were marked down to $25 each so I decided to buy Vanille as I have always been very fond of her character design.

DC Direct Ame-Comi Figures

It seems I have been buying more and more comics toys lately. I went to Wonderland Comics annual spring cleaning sale (buy one get one free on just about everything) with the understanding that anything I get would be tucked away until my birthday. I ended up getting two of the older Ame-Comi figures: Catwoman and Zatanna among other things. The next day, on the way back from Ikea (had to exchange a broken detolf) Ikea I stopped at Alternate Universe and found Batgirl which I hadn’t seen anywhere in months so I decided to get her too.

I was really curious how these two would measure up against each other; I like both figures but neither ones is perfect to me.

Of course, patience never really was my strong suit so I ended up opening up the other two Ame-comi figures as well (and breaking Zatanna’s wand as well apparently).

63/365 Vocaloid Miku figure by Sega Prize

I haven’t been buying anime figures as of late, I was running out of shelf space and I had kind of lost interest. Before I stopped collecting I had been keeping up with collecting pretty much all of the Vocaloid figures unfortunately when I stopped collecting they did not stop releasing new figures from Vocaloid, the market seems to have been flooded with new figures. I did pick up a few Vocaloid things here and there like the nendoroid plush series, but now I am woefully behind. It’s a bit overwhelming honestly, I do not even like all of the figure releases . There are a few Vocaloid figures I am keen on getting, I am hoping to get at least one for my upcoming birthday.

I recently did get one of the Miku figures during my last trip to Animadness, I saw her in one of their display cases and absolutely had to have her. I was quite surprised that she turned out to be a Sega Prize figure. I knew she was not a Good Smile Company or Max Factory at first glance but she seems so much more well done than all of the other Sega Prize figures I have seen anyway.

62/365- Pullip Papin (Dr.Skittles) and her cohorts

Dr. Skittles is one of my many Papins, she is member of the rainbow mafia. Dr. Skittles wears a custom upsized version of the little dal Neiryo’s stock made by Angelberries. While I have had the little pullip Bohso that matches Neiryo for a long while I only just recently bought Neiryo herself.
