Recently, I was finally able to get my hands on the newest Saber nendoroid. Over the years, I have managed to gather all the other Saber nendoroids that had been released hoops were jumped through to get the various Wonder Festival releases so it was really quite irksome that a standard release was seemingly beyond my grasp. Luckily Animadness happened to have her in stock during my last visit there so she came home with me to complete my Saber nendoroid collection.
I have been longing to take a new family photo of all of my Dollfie Dreams but the logistics of it are making it a bit troublesome. I don’t have the space or the lighting to try and set them all up indoors and spring is still a ways off so the scenery outside is still kind of lacking. I went to check the rose garden that I like to see if it may be usable for photos but it was still very much covered in snow. I decided to try and use the steps to try and take some pictures of my Fate/Stay Night crew.

As I have mentioned a few times before now, I generally absolutely loathe Shunya Yamashita figures. I love the way he sculpts bodies but something about the way the faces are done just bothers me, it is just a matter of personal taste I suppose. A friend of mine recently posted up pictures of his Shunya Yamashita Bishoujo Series Batgirl figure and she peaked my interest quite a bit. When I saw her in the store I became more interested after passing her up initially I ended turning around halfway home to go back to get her as well as my new War Machine Hot Toys and I’m glad I did.
Batgirl is absolutely gorgeous. Whatever it is about Shunya’s style that bothers me actually translates well into some of the Bishoujo line (I’ve since preordered a few others- Black Cat and Catwoman).

We decided to take one last little road trip this weekend. Toy Vault was closing one of their locations due to the fact they were like the last store open in that particular mall (seriously could film a Dawn of the Dead remake in there), so I wanted to see what was left as well as visit their new location and there was a Newbury Comics not too far away….

Amarri has been here almost a week but I didn’t open her up until this past weekend due to our sucky weather lately, that and I just have not really been feeling as creative lately with dolls in general ^^; Amarri was a gift, I was offered a doll so I sent a small list of choices and asked for a surprise I’m pretty happy that Amarri turned out to be the one that was chose.
I named Amarri Ragdoll because she reminds me of the old style rag dolls. Amarri is a very unique pullip she has yarn hair and a very unusual face up.

As can somewhat be seen in the picture here, I was fortunate enough to find one of my grail Harley Quinn items on one of my recent trips out and about. I remembered seeing the Harley Quinn snow globe on a previous trip to the Outer Limits but that was well almost a year ago, I wasn’t surprised when I couldn’t find it. I was kind of disappointed but I found some other Joker toys and a few comics and was on my way to the door when I saw the snow globe’s box on a high shelf. It was fetched down for me and needless to say I bought it.
Why was this so hard to find, you ask? Harley Quinn is pretty popular so her stuff tends to send out pretty damn quick and this particular item was released in November of 2001. The snow globe is almost ten years old, my chances of finding on the shelf anywhere at MSRP were next to nil I was extremely fortunate to find her.
There actually two other snow globes in this line: Joker and Batman but Harley Quinn was my favorite and I am quite happy just having her. Harley Quinn also has the added gimmick of playing music if you turn the crank the song “we’re in the money” plays but unlike normal music boxes it actually requires you to keep on turning the crank to make music.
I’m skipping ahead a bit in order to get caught up a little quicker ^^; My new netbook died at the hands of the zilla last week and I have been unwilling to go back to using the desktop (mostly due to addiction to certain iPad games) so I have not been keeping up with things here so my apologies for that. I did make a nifty little visual list of all the anime character Dollfie Dreams last week right before the netbook died (I was partially through the Volks’s character list when the netbook got smashed).
Nanoha arrived last Tuesday, she didn’t come until very late in the day so I didn’t photograph her until Wednesday. I wasn’t really supposed to get Nanoha at all, I am supposed to be on a dolly diet after having purchased both the Nia and Mikuru Dollfie Dreams in the past month. Nanoha popped at a really reasonable price and my birthday is at the end of next month so she is counting as an early birthday gift and I am still very much on my dolly diet. 
I remember when she was still available from Volks themselves, I had her in my cart and she was almost all the way through the checkout process when I changed my mind at the last second. It wasn’t that I didn’t want her it was that the timing would have been most unwise for my bank account. I have been regretting the decision to not get her ever since.

Despite the fact that I have all of the first series of Arkham Asylum figures preordered at BBTS, I couldn’t resist picking up a spare set of Joker and Harley Quinn figures during my travels yesterday. I found Joker at my local Toy Vault (and a vintage Two-Face figure I had as a kid) alas there was no sign of Harley Quinn there. I stopped at my extremely local comic book shop (ie. I can walk their in less than ten minutes) to pick up my pull box and they had Harley Quinn in stock. I had intended to keep my set NRFB so I essentially bought spares so I could debox and I am glad I did.

As I mentioned earlier, I had the day off today and decided to make the most of it but taking a bit of a road trip to Animadness and a couple of comic book shops in the area.
Outer Limits is down the street from Animadness and was my first stop of the day. I wanted to go Outer Limits first because the last time I had been there I had spotted a Harley Quinn snow globe that have since been regretting not buying on my previous trip. Much to my dismay, I was unable to locate the Harley Quinn snow globe so I picked up some other stuff including some stuff from the Batman the Animated Series (two Joker figures, a Joker plush, playing cards and a puzzle), some comics and a Harley Quinn glass. As I was leaving I spotted the Harley Quinn snow globe back in the box on a very high shelf so I very quickly returned to the register to buy it too. The Harley Quinn snow globe was one of my grail Harley Quinn items so I was very excited to finally add her to my collection.
After going to Animadness I went to Animadness, the plan for today was to go with yesterday’s directive and buy more nendoroids. This initiative was only partially successful, I did buy a nendoroid the newest version of Saber as well I already have all the other versions of nendoroid Saber and it was really starting to bother me that there was a Saber nendoroid out there somewhere that I did not own. Not on the agenda today was a pullip purchase, I looked at their selection online this morning and decided that I would be safe from any temptation then as I was speaking to one of the workers I spied a Prunella over his shoulder. I had been wanting another Prunella, unfortunately I had only came to this decision that after Prunella had a massive surge of popularity after she appeared in the background of an episode of Hannah Montana ^^; I couldn’t resist her and Animadness sweetened the deal with a free blind box re-ment. I also picked up the new Vocaloid Miku Sega Prize figure after seeing her on display in one of their display cases, I couldn’t believe she was actually a Sega Prize figure she is full on the most impressive Sega Prize figure I have ever seen. I also picked up a K-on! towel as I realized I can still actually see the ceiling in part of my bedroom and that kind of frightens me.
On the way home, I stopped at Toy Vault. I ended up picking up two very old Akira figures by Macfarlane Toys, really I just wanted the bike which I theorize will be full on brilliant sized for the Monster High dolls (oh yes I am planning blasphemy) but I ended up getting the figure as well. I also spotted a Harley Quinn doll I had not seen before, it even came with Joker’s pet hyenas Bud and Lou. They also had the Harley Quinn Marionette it was over $300, it was amazing but I had really already spent enough money lately and I had no idea where I would have put the thing if I had bought it ^^;
