Chobits-E2046- Prepainted Chii Resin- I hate the store but this is based off of my all time favorite picture of Chii, I am getting her as a birthday present so I am still not giving the store any of my money so I can kind of justify it. She’s 1/8 and due out in March.
Remember the Evangelion plushes I mentioned well they turned out not to be plushes but ban presto figures (why I am no longer allowed on ebay after 2 AM). At first I was kind of like well they are cute but not want I wanted then I noticed they were roughly the same size as nendoroids. I squeeled with joy when I realized the heads were interchangeable, boy am I am glad I have an army of 28 nendoroids.

My monthly preorders arrived in the mail today… as well as my Mad Hatter little dal
Neo Noir- I actually really love Anthrax’s face up it reminds me of Bara and Kira’s face up I will have to take comparison photos of them tomorrow. I really kind of want to rewig her in acid green to better accentuate her and to make her a bit less monotone.
Melize-Jelly Bean kind of reminds me of Rot-chan but she is absolutely adorable.. the tail on the bear suit is absolutely killing me with cuteness.
Mad Hatter Dal- The new minis are light years better than the old ones and the little dal mad hatter is no disappointment.
I ended up canceling my preorder for Rayne on HLJ and preordering him on Pullipstyle instead. I am just going to prepay him some time in the coming month so May will not be as painful.

Ah the few, the proud the changing clothes figure skating of new feeling which can enjoy recombination freely with spare clothing feeling. What’s not to love about Pinky Street figures they are cheap, they don’t take up much space and they are downright adorable.
I just now received a package containing the 7 additional pinky street I had ordered. I now own 110 pinkies and I just need 11 additional to have a complete set, not counting the preorders of course. I’ve come a long way from having a 1/2 dozen in a shoe box under my bed lol.

So back in the 1970s there were these quirky dolls that had a unique eye mechanism that when you pulled the string, the eyes color and expression changed. There were four different eye colors/expressions. Unfortunately they were a commercial flop in the US back then… until more recently after Gina Garin published a photography book called This is Blythe. After the publication of the book blythe got a surge in popularity, so much so they started rereleasing them in 2002.
I had appreciated the history behind Blythe for a while now and I had wanted Blythe but always stopped myself from getting one. I did receive the This is Blythe book and Blythe Style book as gifts which helped grow my affection for this strange doll.
I bought an ADG Roaring Red yesterday. She is a reproduction of one of the original blythes (kenners). I was at the store I go to buy re-ment and the owner gave me a phenomenal deal on her, so much so that I could not resist. I have named her Gina after Gina Garin. Just a note she is not wearing her stock (what she came in), she is wearing a dress by Angelberries a super awesome pullip/blythe seamstress that happens to be a friend of mine.
Really she is such an odd doll, she has no eyebrows, she’s shiny and she makes pullip’s head look small and that is saying a lot :p. All that being said I do like her.

I also have a hot topic order made up of entirely of Joker and Harley Quinn items and two vinyls (Fallout Boy and My Chemical Romance) on the way . I just now bought a kitty hat for my in progress custom pullip Cheshire and a Zero plush from Nightmare before Christmas. The Zero plush was an unexpected find at the valley of the dolls.

So I am in Michigan right now. I never really enjoy my trips here except for the days when I go shopping. Before I get into the shopping in Michigan, let me tell you about my adventures in New York. I found a store named Angelic Dreamz that stocks dolls, more importantly they stock pullips. I made my first ever in store purchase of a pullip. Their prices were a bit on the high side but the owner cut 20% off my total which made their prices competitive with pullipstyle (my normal NRFB dealer).
Now unto Michigan- Their used to be two stores that sold anime paraphernalia in downtown Ann Arbor unfortunately times have changed. The one store wizzywigs was a good sized store that sold nothing by anime and kawaii (sanrio, etc) now they have moved out of Ann Arbor and are only open on the weekends and the store is basically a hole in the wall. I haven’t actually gone in wizzywigs yet as they are only open on the weekend so I hope to go there on Friday. Then there is vault of midnight which has also moved into a new location only there is much larger. There used to be an intimate appeal to it when it was a much smaller store now it is almost too mainstream.
I was unsatisfied so I decided to run a search and I discovered a couple of stores in Toledo, Ohio which was only about forty minutes away from us. Strictly Anime was just that strictly anime, they were a fairly small store but they actually had a pretty diverse selection. I ended up getting the Alter Louise as well as some Puffy Ami Yumi toys.
More interesting was Ani Games which again was a fairly small store but it was jampacked with a ton of stuff both really old and new. They actually had the Cardcaptor Sakura board game which is over eight years old. I also bought an Evangelion wall scroll, a Digi Charat clock as well as a plush key chain.

A seriously depressing thought once I actually get back from Michigan, basically from here on out I am not going to be able to debox anything as I am going to be moving somewhat soon. It would be easier to just leave things in the package than to take them apart for my purposes right now. In retrospect buying everything online kind of sucks because of the rare occasions when I do go to IRL anime stores I already have everything.

My Evangelion kitty sega prizes arrived in the mail yesterday. Still waiting on the TL package but it won’t be here until after I get back from visiting relatives. My Kanu figure from Hobbysearch shipped yesterday hopefully it will arrive on Friday before I leave. I have a number of packages floating around in the mail but most of them probably won’t arrive until I get back. My lost Amazon.de order actually arrived yesterday.

Pullip Front-
Adstiltia and Milch arrived two days ago. I love Adstiltia, she is the darker version of the limited Isolde.
I haven’t opened Milch yet. My 6th Papin arrived yesterday as well as a small order from VOTD with Re-ment and a limited doll carnival shirt. I see some suspiciously shaped packages under the tree- I know there is re-ment and at least one pullip under the tree. I know I am supposed to be getting 3.5 pullips for Christmas (I am picking one up in transit to the relatives hence the .5) but it appears they did not all make it in time, they should be here by the time I get back though.
I am seriously thinking about getting another bjd before my first one even arrives.
