– I actually cancelled some preorders out of apathy, they were mostly stuff I was on the fence about it plus I can almost always get the stuff for cheaper after release if I do decide I want it later on. I am probably going to cancel more tonight. I even cancelled a few figures I hadn’t been invoiced for yet at HLJ.. I am to the point where I just don’t care.
– Toyslogic shipped my package :O it should be here on the 19th. I paid for it almost two weeks ago, I emailed them two days ago asking what the hold up was.. apparently in the interim they actually stocked out on two items one being the Kanokan figure regular version Kotobukiya figure which I didn’t really care about (which I have known about for about a week and was replaced with the Odin Sphere Gwendolyn figure) and the other being the Bank Robber Joker which I was very upset about. I called them as soon as I found out about the Joker figure and eventually they were able to acquire me one. Recieved a nice email from the owner or rather the one who pays the bills did, they just forwarded it to me. I have such a love/hate relationship with that store. I preordered about $400 more worth of stuff between last night and tonight so I think it is safe to assume they are back in my good graces.
More new stuff that arrived today… most of these came SAL but still arrived within two weeks so I was kind of pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately my blythe was not among them >_<

Ikki Toussen- Ryofu Housen- Yamato Figure – Eh, at the time of ordering I knew I would at least be getting the Kanu Dollfie Dream and wanted more Ikki figures especially of Ryofu as she is my favorite character. Not as nice I had hoped, I remember when this went up for preorder and deciding against it. I kind of wish I had gone with my original instinct on this one but seeing how I only paid 1300yen and not the original msrp of 6800 yen I am not going to bitch too much.
Nanatsuiro Drops- Sumomo Akihime- Jun Planning- I love this show… not nearly enough figures from it. This one kind of threw me off, the prototype picture looked wretched so even though it was Sumomo I decided against preordering. The repaint prototypes looked less wretched so I preordered the green/yellow version off of hlj. After having the repaint a few weeks and actually really liking it, I spotted the original for 1000 yen so I purchased it.
(Top) Melancholy of Suzumiya – Nendoroid PLUS- These little guys were only available at Animate stores in six different regions of Japan. Each set of three is specific to a region and features stuff that region is famous for. I paid about 6000 yen for the complete first set, hopefully eventually I will be able to track down the second set and the Lucky Star set.
(Bottom) Melancholy of Suzumiya- Petit Nendoroids- Bon Festival Set- I honestly I am not trying to collect all of the petit nendoroids, I do have the 1st Lucky Star Set (I have the 2nd set preordered but yeah), the two that came with my Lucky Star nendoroids, the red haired Shana and a froggy Mikuru that’s it. Petit nendos are cute but I don’t want a whole stack of them as I only have so much room for gashapon. I liked this set because it came with all the girls without their being variants etc. that I didn’t neccesarily care about.
Bottom Row (from left to right)-
Vocaloid- Miku- Volks- I ❤ Volks. This was one of my most desired figures for a while, finally purchased her (the twins are in the mail). Absolutely gorgeous figure, unfortunately mine came with a weird paint flaw on one of her pigtails but it is not noticeable in photos. The most expensive item in this particular haul.
Fate Stay/Night- Dark Saber by Alter- As usual the tiniest of Saber kind of bothers me a bit, nice figure all around though. Alter rarely disappoints me, details are nice the only thing I am kind of iffy about is the stand not really digging the color so much. Paid 3,000 yen.
Melancholy of Suzumiya- Chara-ani set- Bought for dirt cheap, they are very small and I am not entirely happy with them. The Suzumiya in the chearleader outfit is my favorite of the set.
Ikki Toussen- Sonsaku- Wanted more Ikki figures as stated above, I like Sonsaku’s character design but I only really like her in her school uniform.
