I’m a bit behind here still, so I apologize for my tardiness in getting this written up. Groove recently announced Pullip Bonnie via their blog. Bonnie has a sexy lolita bunny theme, it’s kind of funny that with the way the release schedule worked out that she is being released in such close proximity to Pullipstyle’s upcoming exclusive Amelia who has a pilot bunny theme 2016 is truly the year of the bunny Pullip. Pullip Bonnie is a September release in Japan which means she will be released here in the US in October. She has a MSRP of 18000 yen which is approximately $170 as of this writing.

I really love the color Groove chose for her wig, it looks like a lovely blond with some brassy undertones. I am always a bit apprehensive about curls especially spiral curls like her’s, I can’t help wishing that her wig was shorter or less curls. When I buy a Pullip Bonnie, I think I’ll rewig her in a similar color but shorter non-curly style, a white wig would probably suit her quite nice as well.
The skirt is removable, she has quite the sexy outfit hiding underneath! The outfit even comes complete with garters and thigh high fishnet stockings. I absolutely love and adore the little puff of a bunny tail. Her lingerie is very dainty and feminine, I love the lace and pearl details on it.

I really like Bonnie’s face up, in particular I love her smokey eye makeup (the white really makes it pop) and her lips. Pullip Bonnie has very full lips, it is important to note that she has the same face mold as other Pullips the difference is in how she is painted it is kind of an optical illusion there is very subtle shading underneath her lip that really enhances and highlights it. I’m continually impressed by how Groove still manages to change things up, there have been over 250 Pullip releases over the years and they still keep trying to do something new and unique.  I must say I really love the like peachy pink color they chose for her lips. She has very soulful brown eyes and from what I can see, I love the feminine dainty arc of the eyebrows.
I don’t think I’ll be able to pass on Pullip Bonnie, I’m definitely going to need to add her to my collection at some point.
