It’s been a while since I’ve written about Pullip Alura here, so to refresh everyone’s memories… Pullip Alura is a collaboration between Mistubachi@BabyBee (face up) x Momolita (outfit) x Laura (photographer/stylist) . She is the second doll produced by this collaboration the first being Pullip Laura (they share a face up but are styled/dressed differently). In Japan, Alura is a Dolly Japan magazine exclusive which means you had to buy the necessary issue of Dolly Japan to mail away to receive her several months later. Fortunately for the US, JPGroove will be receiving a small number of Pullip Alura which they have placed up for preorder here. She is priced at $149.99 and is set for a mid-October release, her preorder period is set to close on the 24th. At this time, if you are within the US and want a Pullip Alura the only way to absolutely guarantee it is to preorder through JPGroove as Pullipstyle will not know if they are able to offer her or not until some time after JPGroove’s preorder period closes.
I personally couldn’t risk missing out on this gorgeous girl, so I preordered her through JPGroove. Alura will be my first 2015 Pullip!

I pre-ordered Alura as well and am wondering if you knew when it is due to be shipped out? I’ve been on my toes about her as I’m from Australia & ordered her using a third-party service. myfigurecollect.net listed her release date at 22/10 but it has already passed! :s

Hi, if you ordered from JPGroove she is supposed to be arriving in stock this week to be shipped out shortly after. Depending on where your proxy service is located, it can take up to a week to receive the package from JPGroove within the US. I ended up having to proxy for one of my friends who lives in Sweden as she wanted Alura too but the shipping from them directly was too much.
