Puella Magi Madoka Magica Little Dal Kyubey

I really love mini pullips and dal but I find that I don’t really do all that much with them, they have the nasty tendency to just sit on the shelf, look cute and well not much else honestly. I hadn’t actually bought a mini pullip or dal in quite a while, the last one I got Penpen was received as a Christmas present I was starting to think I was safe from their adorable siren song then they had to go announce a Kyubey little dal as a part of their docolla series of collaboration dolls. Needless to say I was powerless to resist and bought him from Pullipstyle (he seems to be out of stock at the moment but they restock pretty frequently).
Kyubey
Kyubey is a magical little creature from the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime/manga series, despite the fact that I don’t really care for most newer anime Madoka has managed to become a favorite series of mine as it turns the entire concept of a magical girl anime on it’s head.
Kyubey
I’m glad I bought Kyubey as I think she may just be my very favorite little dal, she is just way too adorable but also a little bit creepy as it almost appears that instead of dal wearing a Kyubey suit her head is being eaten by Kyubey which in a weird way kind of suits his very much adorable but also a bit sinister character.
Kyubey
The micro-sized Kyubey is actually the Kyubey that comes with the Madoka figma which I own but have somehow neglected to take pictures of properly, I actually still have to photograph most of the anime figures I bought at Anime Boston ^^;

    I love this series! I got into it when it first came out with subtitles, and hadn’t thought much on it again until at Anime Boston it was EVERYWHERE. In general, I tend to be a sucked into the magical girl stuff. (A guilty pleasure.) This doll is adorable. I probably wouldn’t have been able to resist either.

      Madoka is the only series I have been really excited/passionate about in a long while. It was rather surprising how prevalent it was at Anime Boston, not that I am complaining as I ended up buying quite a bit of it ^^; I started with magical girl anime myself when Magic Knight Rayearth/Sailor Moon were new/still airing in Japan I still enjoy it kind of but I find I can’t watch more two or three episodes of any other magical girl anime without going into sugar shock because it’s so cute. Madoka does an excellent job of balancing out the cute.. Thanks so much ❤
