My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Toys

Somehow I just realized I managed to feature toys from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic for my 365 toy project three days last week, so I decided to condense the posts into a single larger post.
My Little Pony collection
This picture was not actually one of my 365 photos but I had finally taken a picture of almost all of my My Little Pony Friendship is Magic toys together so I thought it was a fitting picture to put above the cut.

Lots more ponies behind the cut…

Most Target stores have a bargain section in the front of the store with various items that normally range in price from $1- $2.50, normally I kind of browse through and pick up cheap coloring books for the little ones but it came to my attention recently that there were a bunch of bargain items from the new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series. Suddenly I had all sort of excuses to go to Target..

Bargain MLP items include coloring books, markers, magnets, bags, small containers. Unfortunately once I am in the store I notice the actual My Little Pony toys are on sale to make way for the forthcoming next wave, so I ended up picking up some of the pony toy we didn’t have while we were there. I also had to stop at Toys R Us to look for Monster High dolls, I was very surprised to find the Valentine’s Day Pinkie Pie and Easter Fluttershy ponies on clearance for very cheap.

A few days later, I made the rounds again and got much luckier finding the bargain MLP stuff at a different Target. I also found the last few Pony toys that I needed or needed to replace due to zilla theft on sale so I snatched them up as well. IMG_6541
I also picked up some stuff to set aside for the zilla’s birthday next month, I figured the pony bags would make good giftbags for the various ponies she would be getting. I also managed to find her a Twilight Sparkle birthday card.
MLP- Fashion Style Rarity
Fashion Styling Rarity- While Rarity may not be my favorite pony, this one if pretty darn cute.
Friendship is Magic Fluttershy
Fluttershy’s Nursery Tree playset- I took this picture at the edge of the forest to kind of be reminiscent of Fluttershy’s home on the show which is at the edge of the dreaded Evertree forest.
MLP- Pinkie Pie and Sweetie Belle Bakery set
Pinkie Pie and Sweetie Belle Bakery set- The littler ponies are even more adorable, Applejack’s applefarm is my favorite of the playsets but this is a close second.
Cheerilee and Lily Blossom
I surprisingly found these two at a Comic Book shop, while I have been looking for them for a while I had not had any luck in any of the normal toy stores. It completely caught me off-guard to find them in such an unexpected place but I was very happy to finally find Cheerilee and Lily Blossom.
Pinkie Pie
While Applejack may just be my favorite pony, Pinkie Pie never fails to make me smile.

All you have to do is take a cup of flour,
Add it to the mix.
Now just take a little something sweet, not sour,
A bit of salt, just a pinch.
Baking these treats is such a cinch,
Add a teaspoon of vanilla,
Add a little more, and you count to four
And you never get your fill of
Cupcakes – so sweet and tasty.
Cupcakes – don’t be too hasty.
Cupcakes – cupcakes, cupcakes, CUPCAKES!
