Twins and other multiples

Breaking dolly news- I preordered the little dal chicken and cat yesterday morning as they were too cute to pass up. I want little froggy very, very badly at the moment but she will have to wait until later in the week.

Lita showed up today, I plan on keeping her NRFB at least for a little while anyways-like I did with Leprotto. I really do love Isolde, and not because she is limited because if she wasn’t limited there would probably be triplets by now.

She was not the only arrival, I had been anticipating Jezabelle arriving today but Butterscotch arrived as well. I am actually really excited about both of them; Jezabelle because she is the last stock pullip I don’t own (minus rechip/rewig) and Kanaria because I have always wanted a second one of her.

I’m seriously thinking about doing the next family photo tomorrow.

Actually home today

So I got a chance to catch up on some of the photos I was getting behind with like photographing my newly acquired RM case.

I didn’t get as much done as I wanted because it was snowing so it was cloudy which left me with a limited window of time to work with and  I had to help sort stuff in the attic. It took forever but I finally found the damned lego kit my husband wanted out of the very back of the attic. My husband was so thrilled that I found what he was looking for that he rewarded me by buying me a Drta head on ebay. So if anyone has a dal body especially a Drta body they want to get rid towards the end of the week (I get more earth monies Thursday/Friday) please let me know.

I need to retake this one because it came out too dark but for now here is a comparison picture of Principessa and Isolde

Dolly Madness

Time to a doll post now I suppose…

BJD- DDE has been officially paid in full so as soon as my Little Fee Ante comes in stock they will ship her out to me. I am pretty excited about her although I have no idea where I am going to put her. I am also a little worried about her care and upkeep as well she is my first bjd.

Pullips- The second Isolde purchased actually arrived first and she is gorgeous, and I seriously love photographing her (I normally hate photography) she has such a divine quality about her. In the three days I have owned her I have photographed her more than any of my other pullips except for maybe Clementine.

The seller was even nice enough to toss in the Jun Planning Doll Catalog and a set of post cards featuring pictures of the new mini pullips/dals.

Shade and Little Assa arrived on Monday as well but they were definitely overshadowed by Isolde and her awesomeness. Today my petite luxury chair to match my couch arrived as well as my doll carnival dal shirt and of course Klein Beere

Klein Beere is a Papermoonpixie custom and she is her interpretation of Hina Ichigo, she has a pullip head on a volks teen body. Jun Planning did make a Hina Ichigo but as a dal which has a pouty face which does not really fit Hina’s normal happy self so it is nice to finally see a smiling Hina. I named her Klein Beere after Hina’s rosa mystica.

I went through a dolly diet phase over this past weekend, unfortunately while I did not buy any dolls I bought the ones I had a bunch of stuff. I even purchased the Rozen Maiden pullip case as I have been wanting one for ages and I finally found someone stateside that carried them (to save on shipping as HLJ wanted like 7000 yen just to ship it because it is so heavy). I am now being really strict on my dolly diet as I did end up caving and buying a doll yesterday, I ended up bidding and winning on a Nomado. I own two Nomados already but both are unrecognizable customs and she was so cheap I could not resist. I ended up winning the auction at $39 plus shipping which was only like $5 as she lives in the same state as me.

I ended up preordering all three of March’s dolls today, they are based off of some anime that I had never heard of before I recently watched the first episode though and it was pretty decent.

All quiet on the western front

I finally caved and bought a case of Ichigo Mashimaro 3d design figures, I love Ichigo Mashimaro and I love the 3d design figures so I needed them but they were a serious pain to actually track down. On the bright side the same store had two pinkies I didn’t own in stock so I bought PK001A and PK006A as well (16 to go).

I am getting behind in opening figures, the last 10 pinkies I have bought are still sitting in their boxes ^^; not to mention the other 15 or so anime figures that have not been deboxed yet. I should take a day and open them all up but I have been too busy lately. I also got a Suzumiya towel yesterday that I haven’t even opened yet, I did open the Kanu towel that arrived today because I thought it was the new volume of the Hellsing OVA.

Not like I really needed a third body pillow to sleep with but I really like this one.

I have another package with anime figures coming tomorrow in the mail, I am hoping that over the weekend I can get all the backed up figures opened up and photographed. So expect a large post sometime over the weekend.

I am really starting to get annoyed with toyslogic, they are becoming too unreliable for my taste so I may have to start using CDJapan/HLJ as my primary stores again. It’s nothing personal against them I just can’t deal with the cancellation and delays anymore, virtually every figure I order from them now gets delayed and one of the figures I preordered has been officially delayed a whole year now. I ordered it on 9/16/2007 and it was supposed to be released 12/2007 and there is still no sign of the damned thing.

I have been wanting this figure for years but somehow never picked it up. Yuffie is my favorite Final Fantasy girl (okay she is kind of tied with Selphie but you get the idea). I am somewhat disappointed with this figure at least I got it at a great price.

yay for 150

It gets really dark early here now so when I got home at 3 I was racing against the clock to debox and photograph the Novembers. I have officially hit 150.. The family photo will be taken as soon as Isolde arrives (and possibly a custom). One of my dream customs went up for sale but the seller is a bit hesitant to sell as she is very attached to the doll, she did say if she does decide to sell she will sell her to me.

Unfortunately when placing my new shelving system light was not thought off so the lighting there is a nightmare. The Novembers have already laid claim to the petit luxury sofa I recently traded dark_skada for.

So late last night it was decided that the pullip will be named Jocelyn. There are plenty more shots of her details like her dress and hair on my flickr.

And the dal was named Lemon Meringue by my husband… I already have a pullip named Lemon Sorbet but whatever..

Little overdue

In other news I bought two new figures online today and two others arrived in the mail.

I bought the Good Smile Version of Lucy from To Heart 2 and I finally decided to give up hope on CDJapan and went ahead and ordered Queen’s Blade Yumil repaint. I had preordered her from CDJapan but they sent me Ari and never replied to any of my emails although it was added to the shipping query a while ago there has never been any update and I was starting to worry I would never get her.

I will post deboxed pictures of the stuff that arrived yesterday and earlier in the week tomorrow.
