Our his and her dollfie dreams arrived today. Kanu is my husband’s and Ryomou is mine, it may seem a bit odd because Kanu was originally purchased for me but Ryomou is more my style doll…. I mean she comes with an eye patch and a set of handcuffs (and a thigh holster for the handcuffs O_o). I can’t wait for my husband to get home so we debox them and get them dressed.
I am still floored by their size, I thought I had mentally prepared myself for it but damn these are huge.
Killing time until the mail man delivers me a little happiness.. Hiyori came in the mail last week with this haul http://anime-junk.livejournal.com/24585.html . She’s very cute, her expression is down right adorable. She is a bit underdressed but she is from an eroge Chu x Chu Idol.
The sculpt on her is superb, a bit more revealing then I would have liked maybe but it is very faithful to the character’s original design.
I love the mischeivous expression.
Toyslogic fell through on my preorder so I had to hunt this one down on my own. Fate Testarossa here is from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanhoha As. Even though she is only a 1/8 she is huge.

I swear this one will be the last one besides new arrivals for a bit. I have all the other nendoroid versions of Saber.. how could I resist the first, it’s scary to think she is almost three years old.
Recieved this one in the mail from HLJ today. Even with shipping SAL she came within two weeks 
I think that is the quickest any SAL package has ever arrived. It was nice outside today like 60 degrees so I decided to take her outside for photos.
Overall she is a pretty nice figure the pose is really gorgeous.
In retrospect price-wise she is really nice considering her size.
There is a slight flaw in her hair which really kind of bothers me otherwise I would have been really happy
I really need to strengthen my resolve to spend less on anime stuff.

All told with shipping from Japan, everything in this post cost me just under $100.
I have to the conclusion that I can not own a single doll of a certain type, I prefer for them to be in pairs at the very least. With that being said I purchased my second dollfie dream today before the first one even arrived.
It should be obvious by now that the first dollfie dream is Kanu who will hopefully be arriving Wednesday/Thursday according to her tracking number. Ryomou has officially unseated Kanu as the most expensive of my anime purchases by about $120 with the conversion rate but she comes with both of her optional outfits whose MSRP were 12,000 yen each so she is actually the better value.
My newest Enterbrain Plenair-san figure showed up today in the mail. I bought her at Kid Nemo which is kind of unusual for me but I was pretty pleased with the transaction overall.
Her car by the way is actually metal and pretty weighty which more than makes up for her tiny size. She is approximately 1/10 scale.
Her expression is just so adorable.
So I am getting a dollfie dream, she was purchased late Friday. She is en routing currently in Japan I am hoping she shows up Thursday/ Friday, but I will just be happy if she gets here before the doll meet next Monday. I made a special trip to Ikea on Saturday to buy her own detolf, somehow I got talked into getting her a biby instead as it has actually has a lock on it.

I had the realization last night that one of the doll stores I do business with in Japan mentions to email them if you had any questions and that they did not list everything that they had in their online store but they welcomed inquiries. I was curious to see what they actually had in stock so I emailed them last night and within maybe ten minutes they simply responded yes we have some and they even sent me a picture of the eight they currently have in stock.. They actually have three that interest me, one really interests me as the counter part to the one that is already on the way plus she comes with boatload of extras. Now I am having the internal battle of whether or not I should buy a 2nd one as their prices are pretty good. My birthday is next month after all.. I’m going to take a look at my preorders and see what exactly is expandable..
