Groove has officially announced the release details as well as more photos of Dal Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity. Dal Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity is the sixteenth doll in the super popular Sailor Moon x Pullip collaboration series. She is set for a January release in Japan which means we will not see her here stateside until February. She has a MSRP of 18000 yen.
To ask silver crystal … the power to protect everyone, to lend me … protect everyone, the force!
These two looks absolutely perfect together, their outfits appear to be the same except for the obvious difference in size. I’m really looking forward to having Small Lady on display next to my Princess Serenity when she is released, I may end up giving her priority over Dal Sailor Chibi-Moon.
She looks so sweet and angelic in her gown, it has an almost ethereal quality to it.
She appears to have a very similar face up to Dal Sailor Chibi Moon except for the obvious addition of the crescent moon on her forehead. I know some people don’t like the Sailor Moon dolls because of the material that is used for the sailor suits so I think maybe if someone was taken with Chibi Moon but wasn’t really interested in the sailor scout aspect she would be a great alternative.
Close up of the back of the outfit for anyone curious, I’m always kind of impressed by the marvels of structural engineering of some of the hairstyles from this series especially when viewed from behind.
Bandai once again has an item exclusive to only those that preorder from them. Similar to their exclusive version of Pullip Princess Serenity, the Dal comes with a silver crystal necklace. It’s a cute accessory and unlike some of the other exclusives, the exclusive version has the same MSRP of 18000 yen as the standard edition.
The necklace is cute but I’m not sure it would be worth the extra effort to special order the Bandai version. If you are interested in the exclusive Bandai version it can be preordered here.
I will be sure to update with information when she becomes available for preorder via Pullipstyle and JPGroove.
