Groove Inc has announced a collaboration with the extremely popular new magical girl anime series Mahou Shojou Madoka Magica. While some of the more recent anime collaboration Pullips have struck me as a bit strange ie. Sengoku Basara this seems like the perfect anime for a collaboration.
Groove teased us with this image last week on their blog, today the first photos of the dolls have been revealed. More photos will no doubt surface in the next few days and when they do I will update this post with the newer/better photos. Edit: I have found some better pictures!

No news yet on whether or not other Sayaka and Kyōko Pullips will also be released at a later date in time, I think it is highly likely that we will see them released eventually though.
Pullips and Junk 
I’m surprised that they made Madoka a Dal- she’s kind of small compared to the other characters, but Dal’s pouty/obnoxious expression doesn’t fit Madoka’s personality AT ALL. The Dal/Byul pout would really fit Mami better… And the hair colors of the other two characters are off… I’m kind of disappointed with these, although I do (as I thought I would) love Mami’s stock…
Which one is your favorite?
Unfortunately, Byul still isn’t all that popular so I think most people would have balked if she had been used for Madoka. I think they show promise but they are not a perfect translation, I don’t think this promo photos are particularly flattering honestly ^^;
I think Mami is my favorite character but probably not my favorite of the dolls.
They REALLY got me! Madoka Pullips sound fabulous! But oh dear, I was so excited when I saw this, but Madoka is the Dal? I’m not fond of that face on her. I may think about getting Mami though, I look forward to more prototype pics.
Unfortunately, the only other option besides having them all be Pullip was really byul and she is still quite reviled. I would have preferred her to have a happier face but maybe it’s supposed to be of her when she is sad like in later parts of the series. Mami is definitely my favorite ❤
