I have safely arrived in Georgia. I am feeling a bit shagged, fagged and fashed at the moment. I ensured the cooperation of the little one through a portable dvd player and a big ol’ box of Spongebob coincidentally if after this trip I never have to watch Spongebob again I will die happy.

I had hoped to take lots of pictures while on the road but due to the nature of this little road trip that didn’t really happen. I didn’t bring that much stuff with me for photography purposes just two pullips and a pinky street. There used to be a shop that sold anime stuff around where the hotel is, I need to go see if they still exist.

Pullip Shan-ria was supposed to arrive in time for my trip, unfortunately my mailman got a bit mixed up on the mail hold days and started it a day early for packages but still delivered me various junk mail. I had intended to take her with me on the trip but since she didn’t I decided to bust out my emergency Papin, Glenda had actually been here for a few weeks, since my last meet with Requiemart but I was kind of waiting for the right moment to open her. Not counting the dal Papin, I now have a dirty dozen members of the rainbow mafia. Glenda is kind of an odd name considering how abstractly named most of the other Papins are named (Clementine, Tangent, Eureka, etc.)  but there has been some talk of an eventual male Papin (Papang?) and if such a being was ever to exist  he would be named Glen. I would have a delicious Ed Wood in-joke that well frankly very few people would get but would be hilarious to me. If you have not seen it already I highly recommend watching the  actual film Ed Wood it has Johnny Depp doing a belly dance in drag….

I ended up ordering her two wigs because well I was a bit indecisive and couldn’t decide which one I wanted for her. I knew I want her to be somewhat of a punk tomboy so I decided she would need a fur wig but I couldn’t decide between this purple or yellow/orange.

Shan-ria isn’t the only doll that will be waiting for me on my return, one of my grail customs unexpectedly popped up for sale. I love pullips and I love horror movies/scary stuff so as soon as I first seen pictures of this girl Agony I fell head over heels in love. She was customized by the Dutch pullip collector/customizer Yukittie. I never expected to see her for sale so I pounced the second I seen the sales post as I did not want to risk losing her. I know she will not be everyone’s taste but well that is why I love her, I have lots of pretty dolls and very few that creep that bejesus out of people.

Of course, as soon as I am on the road Fairyland has to pull out the big stops and announce my next bjd. Littlefee Ante is one of my favorite bjds, I just adore her completely and well they announced a mini pukipuki sized Ante recently and well I kind of caved on the no more pukipuki rule ^^;
