As per usual, I am running a bit behind lately due to lack of enthusiasm on my part. Yesterday’s picture of the day was of Belldandy from Ah my Goddess and she was made by Happinet. I’ll skip rehashing the story of her arrival, I am still mad at HLJ (TL:DR – Shipped via EMS packaging was all destroyed due to HLJ’s carelessness in packaging) and focus on the fact that I have yet to find a Belldandy figure I am absolutely in love with. Belldandy isn’t my favorite character (I adore Skuld!) but it seems like despite the fact there is a fair number of figures of her I am never able to find the one perfect iteration of her. I own a fair number of Belldandy figures but something always seems off about them, the Kotobukiya figure link probably comes closest to my ideal but I am still not entirely happy with it.

I own a 4 figures of Belldandy, and I’d have to agree with you.
This is one of the Belldandys I own, I couldn’t agree with her pre-order price, but I nabbed her when she went on sale and am very happy with the purchase. But I’ve yet to find my perfect Belldandy, Skuld, and Urd figures. For Ah! My Goddess I like their character designs more than the plot.
I own a fair number, at least 1/2 a dozen probably 10 different figures of her (most are still in the nursery or boxed up at the moment). I bought her on clearance too unfortunately mine came fairly banged despite the fact that she was sent via ems
