I skipped work today, stayed home and read comics ^^; One of the things I read through today were my Harley & Ivy comics. Joker and Harley Quinn are my favorite DC villains but I am rather fond of Poison Ivy as well. I absolutely loved her in the No Man’s Land and Hush arcs as well as Gotham City Sirens but she never quite inspired the level of devotion I feel towards Joker and Harley Quinn.  Unfortunately some of the comics revolving around her tend to think her sex appeal will kind of carry her instead of really focusing on her as a character, granted sex appeal is part of her character but some of the writers seem to get a bit lazy when they write her as that is all they focus on besides the plants of course ^^;.

I decided that today’s picture of the day would be of my Poison Ivy Ame-comi figure. Ironically I found my Harley Quinn Ame-comi figure that had gone missing pretty soon after the two of them arrived soon after taking this picture.  The background picture is actually the cover of Joker’s Asylum: Poison Ivy I loved the art in that issue but the issue seemed kind of disjointed when compared to the others especially when I really loved Penguin’s and Scarecrow’s stories. I can say that it was at least it was the prettiest issue in Joker’s Asylum.
