Kanon figures in the snow

There is still a ton of snow on the ground so I decided to take advantage for even more photos today. Deciding to go back out into the snow also meant that I had to decide what it was I wanted to photograph. While looking frantically through my various shelves of figures, looking for what few Christmas or at least winter themed figures I had, I happened upon two Kanon figures. Ayu and Makoto seemed like excellent candidates to go play out in the snow today. Both figures were made by Max Factory a while back (a couple of years ago now) and I am pretty sure I was lucky enough to have preordered them as I don’t remember any fierce bidding wars for them ^^;
I always preferred the Makoto figure over the Ayu figure, something about Ayu’s facial expression always kind of bothered me. I absolutely adore the Makoto figure, she is just too cute.

      How cute, thanks lol. I was trying to think of which figures would actually look decent in the snow and noticed Ayu’s winter coat so I thought they might make good candidates.

    I bought Makoto as an impulse purchase when she came into stock, and I was really blown away by her when she arrived in person. I was so happy with her that I hunted down Ayu, I was lucky to find her at a store and didn’t have to compete on eBay. They are also some of my favorites, they were some of the first to be unpacked after I moved.
