I started working my way through my books-a-million order last night, I read Lovers and Madmen and I was quite pleased with it. I also started reading Going Sane which I hope to finish tonight.. I was re-reading No Man’s Land before the BAM order arrived will probably pick it up again after I finish reading the other new ones.

I had almost completely forgotten that I had these two figures on the way from BBTS.

Harley Quinn is full of surprises she has two different colored eyes one purple and one green, I was pretty sure her eyes were blue pretty universally in the comics so I am not exactly sure where that came from. Also she has a second face on the back of her hat.. it is a Joker face which frankly looks a bit grotesque especially when you actually use is as the face on the figure >_<

Poison Ivy turned out to be my favorite of the two, which surprised me as normally I love Harley Quinn. The attention to detail on the actual plant pieces stands in stark contrast to the simpleness of Ivy’s design.

On a somewhat related note I finally got the collector’s set of Killing Joke. I had always wanted it but when I finally decided okay I am going to buy a bunch of comics no one seemed to have it in stock so I bought the hardcover edition. Of course after I bought the hardcover every single store seemed to magically have it in stock so it really kind of vexed me, finally caved.
