I love Vocaloid and I have a serious soft spot for Miku. Surprisingly even though Vocaloid is massively popular there are not that many figures from it. There have been a few sega prizes, two nendoroids (one normal, one limited), a figma, the 1/8 good smile company Miku pictures above and of course the fabled 1/6 Volks Miku.
Being made by Volks and all it was limited and sold out fast but I lucked into to one today for a reasonable price. I am so excited.
Pullips and Junk 
The hair on the Volks one is gorgeous I just love it. I almost MISSED my GSC pre-order!? I pre-ordered her the day she was announced but there was a mix up in the paperwork and they thought they had already sent me one. If I hadn’t e-mailed them when I did I would have missed the first 2 waves! CRAZY! I had called earlier too and expressed concern over not having her yet when so many other US customers had theirs.
That’s crazy. I am almost to the point where I won’t preorder from TL anymore as I tend to be forgotten. I just now got my Miku even though I ordered her within 30 seconds of her going up.
This is the first mix up of this level with TL and I. Since it was resolved in time I’ll overlook it. But this was an important figure because I’m not sure I would want Rin and Len if I wasn’t sure I’d have Miku. I want to have a whole concert shelf dedicated to these GSC Vocaloid figs.
Man thogh Volks make me so sad, is there a reason they have no desire to sell their figures on a larger scale? I’d have definitely chosen a Volks set over a GSC set for Vocaloid.
I get at least one an invoice these days. I have a vocaloid shelf already, I probably could have waited a bit longer but with the volks, more sega prizes and nendoroids in the mail I thought it was time to upgrade while I still had an emptyshelf.
They are the same way with their dolls unfortunately T_T They do basically everything limited. Oddly almost all of their non-limited stuff doesn’t sell well like the custuma P figures.
