Since we were expecting another big snowstorm here, we ran to the store to get some much needed supplies of course a couple of other things happened to fall into the cart. I had been hearing about the Blythe and Littlest Pet Shop collaboration since before it even hit stores and I was interested in them, since I like both Blythe and Littlest Pet Shop these seemed like kind of a no-brainer to me.  I had been seeing them in the store and loved them but somehow had never managed to pick any up, I finally caved and got three sets all at once including the very apt Winter Weather Cute set. 
I don’t have any actual petite blythes to compare them to sadly, so I can’t comment on quality but I think these are pretty comparable to the original little pullips. I like them quite a bit and I think Hasbro has made some really nice sets, I especially like the two travel sets England and France (coincidently the other two sets I picked up). The newest series sells the mini blythe doll and the corresponding pet separately, I am not as big a fan of them as it works out to be a lot more expensive for example the Winter Weather Cute set was $12.99 if I got one of the new series the Blythe alone would be $10.99 and if I wanted the corresponding pet it would be an additional $6.99.
