Pullipstyle got their restock of August’s pullip release Melissa in late last week. As soon as she restocked I pounced on her as I was powerless to resist the “daring sexy police”.

She kind of reminds me of the previously announced “lady spy” pullip release Beressa. Beressa was allegedly canceled because her lady spy outfit looked quite a bit like a SS uniform.


In box shots.. she actually comes with a fair bit of accessories including a gun, handcuffs and even a little billy club. I’m in love with her stock although honestly, it makes me think she is a stripper impersonating a cop she even has sexy lingerie on underneath.

Melissa is reminiscent of the limited pullip Vivien, Melissa is like a sleeker more updated version of her. Her lip shape is really unique, she has an open mouth design (there is not a sculpt difference just paint) which while there have been others with “opened mouths” her lips seem more almost heart-shaped than the others.

I love her stock and her overall design, she is just the perfect package.

I have an odd sense of humor so I named her Ilsa after the infamous Ilsa of Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS a Nazi exploitation flick out of the 1970s. The movie is bizarre, hilarious and disturbing all at the same time but it was all I could think of when I got my sexy police officer (granted she really needs a bust upgrade to do Ilsa justice).
