I neglected to preorder this month’s pullip release Ddalgi, which I regretted as soon as I saw some owner photos. Luckily for me, someone who did preorder her decided they couldn’t keep her so I was able to get my hands on one.

Obligatory in box shots of Ddalgi. Compared to the last doll I deboxed Eos, she doesn’t really come with that much but she has an adorable outfit, a matching bag and hair wrap. I didn’t really care for the head thing so I didn’t bother photographing her with it on ^^;

Her stock seems delightfully retro, it reminds me of the 1960s/1970s.

She has a wonderful little smirk. Some people have not really cared for her lips as she does appear to have a thinner upper lip (same mold but each doll is painted differently) but I think her smirking expression suits her just fine.

I adore her stock although it reminds me a bit of Christmas with all the red and green ^^; I decided to name her CC short for Candy Cane.

I really love her although she did come with a bit of a factory flaw, namely her bangs which are horribly uneven. Shoddy quality control is one of Groove’s Inc benchmarks unfortunately. I am very glad I was able to get my hands on her though as she is a fantastic doll.
