In early July 2020, the original design of Pullip Minervah was announced for an October release. Many fans were upset about the use of real feathers in her design when she was announced, following complaints Groove officially announced her cancellation on their blog on 7/15/2020 ” in response to the rising spirit of animal welfare in recent years”- link . In November 2020, a new version of Pullip Minervah with a revamped design was announced by Groove for an April 2021 release.
