In early July 2020, Pullip Minervah was announced for an October release. Many fans were upset about the use of real feathers in her design when she was announced, following complaints Groove officially announced her cancellation on their blog on 7/15/2020 ” in response to the rising spirit of animal welfare in recent years”- link . Her design was later reworked to not include real feathers and then released in April of 2021.
