Another cute figure by Alterier Sai. She is very crisp and nicely detailed. I am pretty happy with her even though I am not a very big fan of the show.
I personally prefer her with the shirt on.

Illya is my favorite Fate Stay/Night character. She is just so darned cute I can’t resist her. I was surfing yahoo Japan and happened on this figure which I had never seen before so of course I bought it. Since purchasing it I have found out a bit more about it. This figure was a Hobby Japan exclusive from 2007, a bit of information about her can be found here

This time one of my birthday dolls…. Suigintou
This one admittedly has me a bit stumped as I didn’t even know it existed before receiving it as a gift and I am very large fan of Rozen Maiden and have a very large amount of merchandise from the show, so it’s existence surprised me. The only labeling on the package in English is Animage and Limited Edition so I am thinking she is a limited edition Animage doll but the website listed on the back of the box no longer exists and finding information on it is proving difficult.
She was a pleasant surprise and I do actually like her. The quality of her clothing far surpasses the pullip’s quality. Her face is a bit odd to me though.
One of my birthday figures.. Rozalin from Disgaea 2 by Griffon Enterprises
She is a bit on the small side, but Disgaea figures tend to run on the small side so I guess that isn’t really that surprising. She is not as cute as some of the other Disgaea figures, she very angular and at first this really bothered me but she really kind of grew on me. I love the flow of her skirt even if the sculpt makes it look unbelievably heavy.
London was originally a Precocious Candy’s Mushroom LE3000 but her owner decided that apparently all of the customization tutorials were wrong and that hot glue was perfectly acceptable for use on blythe..For those who don’t know hot glue = severe non-repairable damage to pretty much any type of doll. She was tossed aside by her original owner and given to a friend of mine. My friend customized her and gave her a whole new outlook on life. Originally she was going to keep her but she decided she would be happier elsewhere.
She will never be 100% perfect because of all the damage the original owner inflicted on her but considering the condition she was in she is great now.
I was able to fix her eye mechanism slightly better so she cleanly switch her eyes with the pull string and eyelids would not droop so much.
She has such a great 1970’s/superhero vibe to her and I really do think she has super powers as she survived a 2 story drop unscathed.
So yesterday was my birthday…
Very happy with the birthday haul, I have a couple of other things still making their way through the post as well including my Trigger Heart Exelica Nendoroid/game and a couple of other things. I feel horrible, I stayed home all morning for a specific package from a friend of mine and my mailman never rang the bell, eventually when I checked the mail I seen a sorry we missed you slip and I was pissed.
I was really touched by an unexpected gesture from a friend of mine dark_skada, apparently she and a few of my other doll collecting friends came together and made this. Seeing that really made my day.

Just got shipping notification for my Onegai Teacher Mizuho statue and Evangelion sheets from HLJ. Playasia just shipped Trigger Heart with nendoroid. I know there is another blythe floating around in the post but I don’t know which one or where exactly it is coming from, the custom blythe I bought from a friend is supposed to ship today as well but that is coming from Texas so it should not take as long. Two Yahoo Japan packages currently inbound including my mysterious birthday package, the other package is full of impulse… an older Mizuho figure and this Illya basically because I had never seen it before.
I also bought a Ryomou figure off of Yahoo Japan but that hasn’t even shipped within Japan yet. Just now bought a Max Factory Sasami figure.
and damn it I either want a. a puki or b. another dollfie dream will try and remedy these wants and desires some time in the next week. If anyone is wondering what a puki is it is basically a bjd the size of a pinky street. I do have an insidious plot to get a free puki basically ask family/friends for gift certificates to Denver Doll for my birthday but I am not sure how well that is going to work. Also bought a Max Factory Sasami figure

Now how I got Raelyn is a funny story, I received a private message out of the blue from the owner asking me if I was interested in her at all. I was perplexed as it was out of no where but also intrigued unfortunately my dolly budget had already been exceeded for the month, so I replied that while I was interested I could not afford her at this time.. to which she replied it’s okay I can wait. Turns out my friend Skada who I had previously adopted the Papermoonpixie custom Faewyn from had directed the previous owner of Raelyn to me because she remembered how much I really love Papermoonpixie customs. I guess fate was really wanting me to get this particular doll lol.
I went to a doll meet yesterday at Requiem’s home. It was a lot of fun and I now envy Requiem’s extreme organizational skills as well as her customizing skills.. It is never a good sign when the significant others remark on our stamina because this thing lasted a little better than five hours.

I hope some day I can get my dolls this well organized. Probably won’t happen until I move though. I don’t think I could get everyone in one doll house anyway I think I would have to have several ^^;
It was doll sensory overload there were so many dolls to photograph, the variety was unbelievable. It didn’t help that Requiem also has a ton of fun/interesting props…
I borrowed this lovely lady until the next meet in a few weeks. I am a sucker for any green haired doll but Absynthe is just absolutely perfect..

I mentioned this figure in my last post. I really like although I am not overly fond of the Ah/Oh my Goddess anime I always preferred the manga myself. This is quite possibly my 2nd favorite Kotobukiya figure ever the first being my Mahoro figure that was purchased for me in Akihabara.
