Tiphona arrived yesterday from Pullipstyle. From time to time Pullipstyle offers dolls with dented boxes or otherwise damaged dolls at a discount; I bought Tiphona as a damaged/bait doll. She was a doll that had been returned, I emailed PS when I saw her at a bargain price wondering why she was so cheap and I was told her “issue” was a loose/floppy neck . I was assured that it wasn’t that bad, I decided to throw caution to the wind and buy her (I wasn’t completely adventurous I bought a replacement type 4 body just in case). I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked her and found out there was not a thing wrong with her, so I was very happy that I got a doll I wanted at a discount with no issues and as a bonus I didn’t even have to deal with the sometimes painful deboxing process.

Tiphona was one of three dolls released earlier this summer as part of a collaboration with Japanese fashion brand Innocent World.

She has gorgeous green eyes and a lovely face up . Her face up is not overpowering, it’s subtle but it really does suit her nicely. Her wig was also surprisingly soft, the last few dolls with wavy hair that I got (Eos twins) had really crunchy icky feeling hair but her wig seems to be really nice quality for a Groove Inc/Jun Planning wig.

Her Innocent World stock is fairly nice quality and it really compliments her coloring. Compared to the overpowering pink of the Angelic Pretty collaboration it’s nice to see a more neutral palette choice for her stock.

I am very happy I was able to get such a sweet girl at an even sweeter price.

Ohh, how much did you manage to snag her for?
I think she was $92 with shipping which is really good for her as she is a collab doll and is normally at least $112 or more
