Well hello there blog readers, sorry about my absence as of late. I got back from down South earlier in the week, a bit worse for wear. My laptop inexplicably blue screened during my trip, despite my best efforts I can not fix it so I am in the process of mailing it off to a friend of mine who is like a computer genius who will hopefully fix it as my love my little netbook so. I am very dependent on my laptop  for transferring pictures off of my camera, my camera does not like to “speak” to my desktop it will eventually but normally there are uncomfortable silences lasting a few hours or so first. I kind of gave up my 365 day project as I knew how grueling the entire photo posting process was about to become ^^; Please enjoy some pictures of Clementine I took in Georgia inter spliced with my various ramblings..

Once I did get home I had a bevy of packages waiting for me. My Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha Fate plush, Shan-ria pullip, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance LE, some wigs and much to my surprise a new bjd arrived. I have to say, I never expected or anticipated finding a blank/wigless/eyeless/nude Volks MSD F-01 in that particular package. She is actually really cute, and has a lot of potential once she actually has a face up and clothes. I will say that she poses beautifully the best of probably all of my non-tiny bjds. She was apparently bought with the intention that she be the shell for one of the anime characters I eventually want to make in doll form.

I mentioned wigs, I was indecisive while wig shopping so I bought two different wigs for my 12th Papin Glenda. I find I prefer the orange/yellow one myself but I already have two orange haired Papins so I am kind of torn several people have commented on flickr on my little dilemma some even suggested making myself unlucky and getting a 13th Papin. I do really love both wigs but Glenda was made with the intention of being a tomboy so I really feel like the orange/yellow fits in more with that ideal.. she will eventually have a somewhat girly brother so she needs to be able to balance him out a bit.

I decided to start a new project starting today, the 365 doll project. It’s a bit off because I do not yet own 365 dolls (I might I just really don’t want to do the math) but my plan is to photograph a different doll each day basically until I run out of doll. This won’t just be a photography project either, I will be writing up some small bios for the dolls while they get their moment in the limelight so to speak. I plan to start with my newly acquired Shan-ria Vintage.. On a related note, I decided my new goal is to do five blog posts a week two doll related (I am going to do a once a week cumulative post for the 365 doll project ), two figure related and one other post probably comics or video game related but could really be about anything. I realize I am a bit too much focused on the dolls here as of late and well I strive to maintain a balance.

Unto comics, I was busy at work when my phone started ringing so one of workmates picked up my cell and answered it I got a very confused look as he gave me the phone saying something like “Arkham Asylum called they said Harley Quinn is busting out” umm yeah. I took the phone and realized it was indeed Arkham Asylum- the comic book shop wanting to know if I wanted the new Joker’s Asylum Harley Quinn that is coming out put in my hold box as well as my monthly comics. Of course I did, I think I may pick up all of the Joker’s Asylum comics as I had really liked the first batch. Interestingly, last night a friend of mine contacted me out of the blue the artist that did Joker Asylum’s Harley Quinn– Joe Quinones will be at their local comic book shop next week signing autographs and wondered if I knew who they were and they should try and get me an autograph on something. I took my friend up on their gracious offer and hoping to get a get a copy of Joker Asylum’s Harley Quinn autographed as I think it would be kind of cool to have in my collection. I ended up stopping at Arkham yesterday and picking up the latest Gotham City Sirens and a few other things, I am unfortunately focusing in on comics again  probably another result of the trip to Georgia as on the way back all I had was lego Batman on my psp and a copy of No Man’s Land novelization. A couple of Joker figures shipped from BBTS and I think some more stuff is shipping soon, I get so excited for new Joker or Harley Quinn stuff… I had the insane idea while playing Arkham Asylum this morning around 3am or so that all of my eventual rouge’s gallery pullips will need an Arkham Asylum of their own, I apparently spent a fair amount of time on this in the early morning as I started drawing up schematics with the light of dawn coming in I realized it was not really feasible at least not right yet..
