Buried Under is my semi-local comic shop, they are actually about an hour away from me so while I am not there terribly often I am always happy with my experiences there plus the owner is really nice. For such a tiny store they have a ton of stuff and I always manage to find something rather unexpected and awesome. The owner was not in yesterday, I thought he would have got a kick out of my new suspicious companion, shall we say?  The shop workers were somewhat afraid of her due to her renowned villainy.

My main purpose for being in the area was that I went to go see Alice in Wonderland as I had free passes to go see it in IMAX, I decided to stop in Buried Under and see if they had any new Joker or Harley Quinn stuff to satisfy my needs. I didn’t really find anything but I did pick up The Widening Gyre issue 5, unfortunately I was not alone yesterday and my companion found something they wanted which I somehow ended up paying for which I was not particularly amused with. I am even less amused now that is hanging in my living room.

For the record I am not super keen on sci-fi, I have never seen Star Wars all the way through and my only actual experience with Star Trek was having to watch the Trouble with Tribbles episode for a sociology class. There is a Certificate of Authenticity on the back and from what I understand it is actually fairly rare and that I had got a pretty good deal on it but even knowing that it does not give me any solace now that it is hanging in my apartment.
