When the new minis first came out I made up this comparison. I thought it appropriate to share here.
These are my first two mini pullips: Little Assa and Cheshire. Little Assa is an original Little pullip and Cheshire is a new mini pullip. Honestly the older mini pullips didn’t really interest me much but when the new ones were announced I was very excited about Cheshire in particular and I found a deal on Assa (I think I paid $4 for her brand new) so I decided to give original minis a shot as well.
The bust is larger on the older mini pullip, and the torso in general is thicker. The legs on the new mini pullip are longer.
I was trying to show how less pronunced the chest on the new mini pullip is but Assa’s hair kind of gets in the way ^^;
The new mini pullip has a ball joint neck so she can actually move her head around quite a bit unlike the old mini pullip where she can only look right/left/behind.
Of course the head is the biggest difference, the shape is very different the new mini pullips actually look like a smaller pullip head unlike the old ones where they look a little squished.
